Jamaica Carnival is already in full swing on the island, with a host of parties, concerts, and other events to mark the massive celebration.
With its roots tracing back to the colorful traditions of masquerade, Calypso rhythms, and spirited revelry, this annual extravaganza is one that ignites the senses and captivates the soul. People from all over the world visit the island during the Easter period just to participate in Carnival.
The events officially kicked off on March 28, but since early March, locals and visitors have been in high anticipation, preparing dazzling costumes adorned with feathers and sequins and learning the latest soca songs and dances for all the parties that will lead up to the main event: Road March.
For all the spirited revelers that will partake in Jamaica Carnival, this is a list of all the events to come, as outlined by the Jamaica Tourist Board. These events will all be held across various locations in Kingston, unless stated otherwise.
