Grammy Award Nominee Etana Releases Highly Anticipated Album GEMINI

Grammy-nominated Reggae singer Etana unveiled her latest album, Gemini on Friday, June 19th, 2020.

Leading up to the debut, the LP has been touted as the embodiment of modern reggae fusion, with Etana’s unique sound spanning from dancehall moments to soulful serenades.

Gemini focuses on emotions, eludes to self-care, and explores relationships, in particular staying together, combined as a twelve-track ode to love in a variety of expressions. The project takes listeners on a new music journey with different genre touch points, traditional dancehall baselines and songs such as “Love” that display R&B melodies, a side to Etana existing fans will appreciate yet expand her fan base.

Etana’s new single “Bubble” shows her youthful personality. As one of the lead singles off the album, she teamed up with legendary dancehall producer TJ Records, famous for producing hits for Vybz Kartel.

The duality of the star sign Gemini is mirrored in Etana’s sound, and the album is organically designed to inspire listeners to appreciate life every day while taking action to see their dreams come true. She is driven by creativity and is committed to professionalism, even amidst the constraints of working during a pandemic.

The project includes three songs that have spotlights, “Secret Lovers” with Wiya, Kabaka Pyramid on “Tight Space,” and “Jamaica” featuring Bugle, No Maddz, and Yahsha. Each comes with a distinctive element that adds layers of flavor to the love story painted by Etana.
