Trade Trek partners with AMCHAM T&T to launch series for Caribbean brands targeting US market

Trade Trek USA has announced an exciting new collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago (AMCHAM T&T) to introduce the Market Access Series (MAS), a virtual event series aimed at providing Caribbean brands with the tools and insights needed to succeed in the competitive U.S. market.

The first session of the series will be held on Wednesday, April 30, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (EST), featuring Bob Bauer, the President of the Association of Food Industries (AFI), who will present on “Compliance and Navigating U.S. Food & Beverage Regulations.” As the leader of AFI since 2002, Bauer brings a wealth of experience in U.S. food import policy, and his insights into U.S. food regulations are invaluable for any brand considering entering or expanding in the U.S. market.

Bauer’s extensive background includes his role on the Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee for Trade in Processed Foods and his involvement in creating the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance course, which has trained over 130 sessions since 2017. With his deep expertise, Bauer will guide attendees through critical compliance areas, such as the Foreign Supplier Verification Program and Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations, key components for any food and beverage business looking to navigate the complexities of the U.S. market.
