Guyana government seeks private investment for gas infrastructure

The Guyana government is calling upon private sector investors to take the lead in constructing vital gas infrastructure.

Under the Ministry of Natural Resources, the government is inviting proposals for a centralized gas connection, storage, and transport facility.

This facility will cater to all natural gas needs of the oil companies operating in Guyana.

Safe, timely development and open access

The government’s Request for Proposals aims to ensure the safe and prompt development of gas resources.

It also envisions an open-access infrastructure system that welcomes current and future upstream participants.

Interested parties have until February 27 to submit their proposals to the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board.
