BVI: Probe launched into recent boat fires

Loop News- Two fires, which were set in Freshwater Pond and Road Reef on the British Virgin Islands, have destroyed several boats.

The Royal British Virgin Islands Police Force confirmed the damage as it announced that it has initiated an investigation into the incidents, which occurred on Tuesday night and yesterday morning.

Police said the first fire occurred just before 10 pm on Tuesday near Big Ben’s Gas Station and resulted in two boats being destroyed while one was partially damaged.

The second incident occurred at the Road Reef Marina around 5 am and it destroyed one cataraman and four motor vessels.
