  1. A lot of the food is seasoned with onions, garlic, scotch bonnet peppers, and more.
  2. There are a few dishes that are oily or deep-fried. Most meals are barbecued, grilled, or roasted.
  3. Meats are wet-marinated or dry-rubbed, with green seasoning, jerk seasoning, or other spices.
  4. Conch, a large sea snail, is a delicacy in Caribbean cuisine.
  5. Advanced marinating is a cooking secret, offering healthy cooking without additional butter or oil.
  6. One of the Caribbean cuisine’s secret ingredients is coconut milk.
  7. The cuisines are healthy and full of fruits and vegetables.
  8. The flavor of Caribbean cuisine was influenced by all of the cultures that have come to the islands, including Americans, Indians, Chinese, Africans, Spanish, and more.
