Popular Jamaican radio jockey DJ Franco was found dead at his home in Westmoreland on Monday morning.
DJ Franco whose given name is Courtney Francis was a member of the Mello FM team.
A product of St. Jago High School, he has been a lover of the beats from an early age.
A big man with a big heart Franco was a father of four and is known for blending the beats in MELLO OVERDOSE. Francis’ favorite expression was “oh Jesus” and his experience comes from working out on some of Jamaica’s most recognizable stations.
Francis was also a former policeman who had been assigned to the Savanna-la-Mar Police Station as a detective corporal.
It was reported that Francis had been ailing for some time.
