Effective Sunday, April 19th, 2020, BARC will be reducing operations at our Admissions/Triage department from 24/7 to 12 hours per day, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM.

During this temporary measure, clients will be seen by appointment with the last appointment beginning at 4:00 PM. Additionally, to allow for enhanced social distancing, the BARC Detoxification unit has converted to single occupancy rooms, which has temporarily reduced our bed capacity from 50 beds to 28 beds.

This difficult but temporary decision is necessary for BARC to be able to continue to provide services in a safe and high-quality manner. As we continue to help fight this tragic pandemic, additional future changes may necessary. Currently, all other services at BARC remain at full operational capacity, with outpatient-based services delivered via SKYPE versus in-person.

The Broward Addiction Recovery Center provides Substance Abuse Assessment, Detoxification, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Residential Treatment, and Outpatient Services to adults aged 18 years and older. BARC services are offered on a sliding fee schedule for those individuals that qualify.

To schedule an appointment to be evaluated for Detoxification, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Residential Treatment or Outpatient services, please contact the Admissions Department at 954-357-4851. For more information on BARC’s Services, 954-357-4880.
