West Indies won the toss and sent New Zealand in to bat in the second One-Day International (ODI) of the three-match series at Hagley Oval on Saturday.
Chris Gayle, who has struggled with an undisclosed illness in recent days, has been replaced by Kyle Hope, while Sheldon Cottrell has come in for the injured Kesrick Williams, in the two changes to the Windies XI.
New Zealand, meanwhile, have replaced the rested duo of captain Kane Williamson and Tim Southee, with Neil Broom and Matt Henry.
