The Nevis Tourism Authority brought the flavor and culture of the upcoming Nevis Mango Festival to South Florida this month, using the high-profile Food, Wine & Fete 2026 event in Miami to spotlight Nevis as the Caribbean’s mango capital ahead of the festival’s July staging.
Held at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, the fourth annual all-inclusive Caribbean beachside fete attracted more than 1,500 attendees, including members of the Caribbean diaspora, food enthusiasts, tastemakers and travel-focused audiences from across South Florida.
As part of its activation, the Nevis Tourism Authority introduced a fully branded mango popsicle cart, which quickly became one of the event’s standout attractions. Guests lined up throughout the evening to sample the mango-inspired treats, which highlighted Nevis’ celebrated mango season and longstanding agricultural traditions.
Known as the “Mango Capital of the Caribbean,” Nevis is home to more than 44 varieties of mangoes. Many of those varieties are showcased annually during the Nevis Mango Festival, which returns July 2-5, 2026.
Over the years, the festival has grown into one of the Caribbean’s leading culinary events, attracting chefs, food lovers and international travelers for a celebration of mango-inspired cuisine, cultural experiences and Nevisian hospitality.
Attendees at Food, Wine & Fete also had the opportunity to enter a giveaway for a summer trip to Nevis, including accommodations at Four Seasons Resort Nevis.

The destination’s presence extended into the event’s finale through a custom drone light show produced by LunaLite Drone Technologies. During the display, illuminated drones projected the Nevis Mango Festival logo and the Nevis flag above the Miami skyline, reinforcing the island’s branding before the large audience gathered at the beachside venue.
Representing the tourism authority at the event was Pheon Jones, director of sales and marketing, who engaged with attendees, media representatives and tourism stakeholders throughout the evening.
The activation formed part of a broader marketing strategy aimed at strengthening Nevis’ visibility in the South Florida market and connecting with affluent diaspora travelers and culinary-focused audiences.
“Miami continues to be an incredibly important market for Nevis, not only because of its direct connectivity to the destination, but also because it’s home to a vibrant and affluent Caribbean diaspora and a highly engaged community of culinary and culturally curious travelers,” Jones said.
“Food, Wine & Fete provided the perfect platform for us to introduce attendees to the spirit of Nevis while building excitement for the upcoming Nevis Mango Festival this July.”
Jones also highlighted the tourism authority’s partnership with Vanessa James Media and the Food, Wine & Fete team in helping showcase the destination to a targeted audience interested in authentic Caribbean travel experiences.
