A total of 95 Dominican nationals were repatriated from the United States on Tuesday after completing prison sentences or legal proceedings for various offenses.
The group—comprising 89 men and six women—arrived at Las Américas International Airport aboard a special flight chartered by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Upon arrival, the returnees were met by officials from the General Directorate of Immigration (DGM), the National Police, and the Specialized Airport Security Corps (CESAC). Under tight security, they were transported to the Haina Vacation Reception Centre, where they will undergo identification procedures, psychological assessments, and reintegration orientation.
According to preliminary data from the DGM, more than 1,200 Dominicans have been repatriated from the U.S. so far in 2025, a figure that continues to grow.
The repatriation process is part of ongoing bilateral cooperation between the United States and the Dominican Republic on immigration enforcement and criminal justice matters.
