Marcelle Cherie unveils debut visual EP ELLEMENTAL

Jamaican-born singer, songwriter, and visual artist Marcelle Cherie has officially arrived with the release of her debut visual EP, ELLEMENTAL, which dropped on May 31, 2025. Rooted in emotion, layered with experimental textures, and infused with the rhythmic heartbeat of Dancehall, ELLEMENTAL is a fearless and fluid exploration of self.

A multidisciplinary creative raised in Kingston, Marcelle’s artistry is a fusion of sound, movement, and visual storytelling. Influenced by R&B icons like Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, and Jill Scott, and the bold creativity of Ciara and Tyler, The Creator, she brings a distinctive voice and vision to the Caribbean music landscape — one that refuses to chase trends and instead builds legacy.

ELLEMENTAL is a genre-bending, four-track EP, each song representing a natural element:

●”Likkle Bass” (Fire) – an explosive, bass-driven anthem released in February

●”Sit Pretty” (Air) – a dreamy, confident celebration of grace and power

●”Deep Pockets” (Water) – introspective and emotionally fluid

●”Tunnel Vision” (Earth) – grounded and intentional, closing the project with purpose

Each track is paired with a stunning visualizer, creating a full-bodied, immersive experience that reflects Marcelle’s background as both a musician and visual artist.

To celebrate the release, Marcelle Cherie will host a private EP release party on June 27, 2025, bringing together members of the entertainment industry, creatives who helped bring the project to life, and a tight circle of close supporters. The event will serve as an intimate moment of gratitude, reflection, and artistic communion — a live embodiment of the ELLEMENTAL journey.

“This project is about movement and stillness, rage and softness, growth and grounding,” Marcelle says. “Each element reveals a part of me I had to meet, understand, and express.”
With ELLEMENTAL, Marcelle Cherie is carving her own lane — one that’s deeply intentional, visually stunning, and entirely her own.

ELLEMENTAL is available now on all major streaming platforms. Visuals can be viewed on Marcelle’s official YouTube channel.
