Sorrell, President and CEO of The Mosaic Group, joins a prestigious roster of 16 honorees recognized for their trailblazing leadership across a wide range of industries.

A powerhouse in the realms of marketing, public relations, and entrepreneurship, Sorrell is known for her fearless advocacy on issues affecting women, minorities, and the environment. Her firm, The Mosaic Group, has managed campaigns and projects valued from $100,000 to $3 billion and ranks among South Florida’s top PR firms. A proud Jamaican-American, Ann Marie Sorrell migrated to the U.S. at the age of three, settling in Pahokee, Florida, where her grandfather worked on a sugarcane farm. In 2020, she made history by becoming the first Black woman elected to the Palm Beach Soil and Water Conservation District, and was re-elected unopposed in 2024. She now serves in Seat 4.

The award-winning leader is a three-time published author, with her latest work titled Live Audaciously!, and holds degrees from Florida A&M University and Nova Southeastern University. Her list of accolades includes the 2023 Ultimate CEO award by the South Florida Business Journal. She also remains deeply involved in civic life through leadership roles in organizations such as Leadership Florida and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
