The release marks another standout moment for the rising star, who continues to captivate audiences with her powerful storytelling and distinct sound.

“Ready” showcases Kingdom’s ability to blend vulnerability and strength, delivering a dynamic ballad that highlights her and Dexta Daps’ undeniable artistry. The track builds on the momentum of her recent hit “Somebody Else,” which earned recognition on Tidal’s Real Love: Best New R&B playlist. Billboard proclaimed the track as  a “must hear track” and “a characteristically seductive kiss-off, [that] finds Twinkle purring her way through an R&B-infused track that balances vulnerability with strength sourced from introspection.”

Media outlets such as Earmilk have praised Kingdom’s vocal performance on “Somebody Else,” calling it “soul-stirring” and commending its unapologetic lyrics and lush production. Additional acclaim has poured in from GRM Daily, VIBE, and others, cementing Kingdom’s reputation as a genre-bending powerhouse.

As Jada Kingdom prepares for her forthcoming project, the singer wraps up another milestone year with sold-out shows worldwide and millions of streams.

With “Ready” now out and 2025 on the horizon, the buzz around “bad gyal” Jada Kingdom continues to grow, making her one of Jamaica’s most exciting artists to watch.
