The victory sealed a perfect weekend for the Jamaican side, who had already claimed a 40-13 win in the first encounter last Friday.

Kaelyn-Kendra Smith, the standout goal shooter, spearheaded Jamaica’s offense with a stellar performance, scoring 25 goals from 27 attempts. Her sharp shooting helped the home team surge to an 11-4 lead after the first quarter, which they built on in the second quarter, heading into halftime with a dominant 23-7 advantage.

Maintained control

T&T netted seven goals in the third quarter, their strongest showing, but Jamaica maintained control and extended their lead to 33-14. In the final quarter, the hosts wrapped up the game in style, scoring nine more goals to seal the emphatic 42-16 triumph.

Goal attack Kheresa Pecco added nine goals from 11 attempts for Jamaica, while Kalee Martin contributed eight goals from nine shots. For T&T, Tenicia Goodrich was perfect with six goals from six attempts, and McKayla Grant scored six from 10.

In the Under-18 division, Denbigh High’s netball team completed a clean sweep over Trinidad and Tobago’s Under-18s, winning 38-15 in their second match after a 36-18 victory earlier in the tournament. Reniece Williams led Denbigh’s scoring with 28 goals from 40 attempts, while Crisada Wignall and Abigail Williams each netted five. T&T’s Akesi Quashie led her side with seven goals from 10 attempts.
