During his budget presentation on Monday, Minister of Finance Dennis Cornwall unveiled exciting news for the Grenadian hospitality landscape.
Six Senses Resort, a 100-room hotel development nestled in the picturesque La Sagesse, is slated for a grand opening in May 2024. This ambitious project not only adds a significant number of high-quality rooms but also spurs economic activity.
The construction phase alone has already generated between 350 and 400 employment opportunities, signaling a boon for the local workforce. Furthermore, the resort’s operational phase will create approximately 194 permanent jobs, offering stable employment prospects for the community.
Silver Sands Beach House Resort: A timely addition
Adding to the anticipation is the impending inauguration of Silver Sands Beach House Resort, a 30-room oasis in Point Salines, scheduled to welcome its first guests on Monday, December 11, 2023.
This opening marks a significant step forward in Grenada’s tourism infrastructure, with the resort expected to create around 72 permanent positions. Notably, the establishment is actively pursuing land expansion plans for 2024, promising further growth and job opportunities.
