This conclusion stems from Remitly’s analysis of Google search volumes for the phrase ‘move to [city]’ across 164 countries. By excluding searches from local regions, Remitly’s findings offer an accurate representation of global preferences.
Dubai leads, but Miami shines
While Dubai tops the list, attracting the interest of 60 countries including powerhouses like the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., Miami’s popularity is noteworthy.
The Sunshine State’s city has captured the imagination of residents from diverse countries such as Greece, Haiti, Afghanistan, and Chile.
