Barbados: Free shuttle service offered for 2023 Independence Day Parade 

In anticipation of the grand celebration scheduled for the 2023 Independence Day Parade on Thursday, November 30, a valuable amenity has been extended to the public in the form of a complimentary shuttle service.

 This service aims to accommodate individuals who do not possess a park-and-ride ticket and require convenient transportation to the renowned Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

Convenient departure point: Golden Square Freedom Park

The complimentary shuttle service will commence its operations promptly at 6:15 am until 7:30 am.

Departing from the Golden Square Freedom Park, located in the heart of Bridgetown, this designated departure point offers accessibility and ease of access to those in need of transportation assistance.

Return transportation arrangements

Following the culmination of the 2023 Independence Day Parade and the departure of esteemed dignitaries, President Her Excellency The Most Honourable Dame Sandra Mason and Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, the shuttle service will offer return transportation to the Golden Square Freedom Park. 

Park and ride ticket holders

For individuals holding park-and-ride tickets, the tickets will display one of five specified locations for both parking and access to transportation services.
