Rising tides of demand

Luz Tejada, the astute Commercial Director at Pepsi-Cola Jamaica, observes a notable surge in demand for various products, not limited to just the local market but extending its reach to international shores.

Answering the call

As consumer preferences continue to evolve, Pepsi-Cola Jamaica might soon be compelled to take action to ensure a seamless supply of its sought-after products.

Among the beverages seeing heightened demand are Gatorade and Ocean Spray, beloved by consumers for their refreshing flavors and quality.

A fresh chapter unfolds

This week marks a significant milestone for Pepsi-Cola Jamaica as it unveiled a state-of-the-art production facility with an impressive US$30 million investment.

This ambitious project, completed within the remarkable span of eight months, catapults the company’s production capacity by an astounding 60 per cent, and in parallel, bolsters employment opportunities by a commendable 20 per cent.

Looking ahead

Reports are that the company is poised to not only meet existing demand but also rekindle the production of certain cherished products, including the much-loved 500ml Pepsi Bubbla. This revitalized production capacity promises to further delight loyal customers.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Prime Minister Andrew Holness praised Pepsi-Cola Jamaica’s investment, emphasizing its capacity to establish Jamaica as a central hub for the Caribbean.
