The cause of this disruption is attributed to unforeseen maintenance issues that have arisen within the airline’s fleet.

LIAT says it apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this schedule disruption and looks forward to resuming service soon.

Temporary suspension of regular schedule

According to a statement released by LIAT, the severity of these maintenance issues has necessitated the suspension of its current flight schedule.

The airline is actively engaged in resolving these challenges to ensure the timely return of its aircraft to their regular operating schedules.

Uncertain timeline and flight cancellations

However, logistical and supply chain challenges have added a layer of complexity to the situation, preventing LIAT from providing a concrete deadline for the restoration of its usual flight schedule.

As a result, several flights in the upcoming weeks have regrettably been cancelled, potentially causing significant disruptions for travelers.

Prioritizing safety above all else

LIAT says it is aware of the inconvenience this disruption may cause to its valued customers.

Nevertheless, the airline has emphasized that the safety of passengers, crew members, and ground staff remains its paramount concern throughout this challenging period.
