Yvette and Raymond Ramsey, a Kingston couple who first met while working at The Jamaica Telephone Company, marked their 34th wedding anniversary this week at the picturesque Couples Tower Isle Resort in Jamaica.
The couple, who began dating in 1987 and tied the knot three years later, have credited their enduring relationship to their faith, patience, and a strong foundation of friendship.
The Ramseys, who are active members of the Faith Apostolic Ministry Church in Kingston, shared that the keys to their long-lasting marriage are a shared love of God, the ability to forgive easily, and a deep bond as friends. They also emphasize the importance of couples cultivating a solid friendship before walking down the aisle. Together, the Ramseys have two children.
