InterCaribbean Airways launches non-stop flights between Barbados and Jamaica

InterCaribbean Airways, a prominent Caribbean airline, has unveiled plans to commence a non-stop flight service connecting the islands of Barbados and Jamaica.

Starting from February 6, 2024, InterCaribbean Airways will operate non-stop flights between Barbados and Jamaica.

This direct air link between Bridgetown and Kingston comes as a welcome addition for travelers seeking efficient and convenient transportation options within the Caribbean.

Flight schedule

Flights from Barbados to Jamaica will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering travelers flexibility in planning their journeys.

Return flights from Jamaica to Barbados will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Operated by interCaribbean’s CRJ700 Jet aircraft, this route will be the only non-stop service between Bridgetown and Kingston.

CEO Trevor Sadler expressed his pride in introducing this non-stop service, emphasizing its potential to strengthen both business travel and tourism ties between Barbados and Jamaica.

One-stop connections

One of the key advantages of this new service is the introduction of convenient one-stop connections for passengers traveling from various southern Caribbean destinations.

Travelers from locations such as Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica, Georgetown, Antigua, and Dominica can now easily connect through Barbados and Jamaica.

This expanded network offers more efficient and streamlined travel options within the Caribbean, enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers.
