This strategic update, announced at the Caribbean Travel Marketplace in Montego Bay, Jamaica, signifies a fresh chapter in Caribbean hospitality excellence.

In partnership with The Anything Group (TAG), the CHTA’s new branding showcases a modern aesthetic and a user-friendly website.

This design overhaul aims to enhance the visual and operational appeal of the Association, reflecting the vibrant energy and resilience of the Caribbean region.

Expanding horizons: Enhanced services and initiatives

Under the leadership of CHTA President Nicola Madden-Greig, the Association is also expanding its scope with new services and events.

The launch of a dedicated Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) itinerary marks a significant enhancement, starting with a notable gathering of 20 meeting planners at the inaugural Caribbean MICE Exchange.

Another pioneering initiative is the Responsible Tourism Day, aligned with Jamaica’s Labour Day on May 23.

This event focuses on critical issues such as climate change, sustainable development, and the integration of agriculture to foster responsible tourism practices.

The new CHTA logo integrates a spiral within a starfish, representing the collaborative essence of the Caribbean’s tourism sector.

The logo’s color palette—ocean blue, royal blue, turquoise, palm tree green, lemon yellow, and coral—reflects various facets of the Caribbean environment and culture, from the sea to the joyous spirit of its people.

Streamlined digital experience

The overhauled website offers a streamlined, intuitive user interface that consolidates vital information into fewer microsites, making it easier for users to navigate and access essential data about the Caribbean hospitality industry.

This enhancement is part of CHTA’s ongoing commitment to improving service delivery and accessibility.

Partnership with TAG

Rich Tuckwell-Skuda, CEO and Founder of TAG, expressed excitement about collaborating on this transformative project.

TAG’s involvement included revamping the CHTA website and acting as Gold and Official Graphics sponsors for key industry events, further supporting the rebranding initiative.

Commitment to dynamic growth

This rebranding initiative reflects the CHTA’s commitment to continuously evolve and enhance its presence and services, reinforcing the dynamism and vibrancy of the Caribbean’s hospitality industry.
