The 20-year-old forward netted his third goal in five games last Saturday as Ipswich Town secured a 3-1 victory over Birmingham City, drawing level on 72 points with second-placed Leeds.

Reflecting on his recent performances, Hutchinson expressed gratitude for the support he has received: “I’ve been working really hard and it’s all paying off now. I’m really buzzing with the goals and helping the team.”

Acknowledging the role of his coaches and teammates, Hutchinson emphasized, “Without the coaching staff and my teammates helping me, I probably wouldn’t be doing as well as I am now.”

Dramatic winner against Rotherham

Hutchinson’s late goals, including a dramatic winner against Rotherham last Tuesday, underscore Ipswich’s resilient spirit. He explained, “When we see 90 minutes, and added time, we always think we can get another goal. That’s how we are as a team – until the final whistle goes, there’s always a chance to score.”

Describing Ipswich’s style of play, Hutchinson praised the technical abilities of his teammates, highlighting their impact on the game and ability to trouble opposing defenses.

Having started his youth career at Chelsea and returned to Stamford Bridge last year on a senior contract before joining Ipswich on loan, Hutchinson has tallied six goals during his loan spell. He made his international debut for Jamaica two years ago, adding another dimension to his burgeoning career.
