World Athletics has revealed a star-studded list of 11 nominees for the Men’s World Athlete of the Year 2023 award, featuring renowned athletes like Noah Lyles, Mondo Duplantis, and Neeraj Chopra.

The announcement comes two months ahead of the award ceremony scheduled for December 11. These athletes have earned their nominations largely due to their outstanding performances at the World Athletics Championships Budapest 2023.

Notable mentions on the list include Kenya’s rising marathon star, Kelvin Kiptum, who shattered Eliud Kipchoge’s marathon world record at the 2023 Chicago Marathon.
