Despite coming close, the Heat narrowly missed setting a franchise record for the largest margin of victory, falling six points short of the mark set in 1994.

Adebayo’s stellar performance included 15 points, 16 rebounds, five steals, and four assists in just 28 minutes of play. Haywood Highsmith contributed with a team-high 18 points off the bench, while Jimmy Butler added 15 points and six assists in 24 minutes.

Lost three consecutive games

The Cavaliers, who have now lost three consecutive games, were led by Evan Mobley’s 15 points in 21 minutes, marking his return after missing nine games due to an ankle injury.

From the outset, Miami controlled the game, shooting 57.9% in the first quarter to establish a 32-22 lead. They continued their dominance into halftime, entering the break with a comfortable 60-39 advantage.

Miami extended their lead to 40 points in the third quarter before ultimately settling for a 90-57 lead heading into the final period, where they cruised to victory.

Miami showcased their depth

Despite missing several key players due to injury, including Jaime Jaquez Jr., Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, Kevin Love, and Josh Richardson, Miami showcased their depth and offensive prowess.

Cleveland, missing starters Donovan Mitchell and Max Strus, struggled to keep up with Miami’s offensive efficiency, shooting just 41.7% from the floor and 31.0% from beyond the arc.

Miami’s dominant performance underscored their strength as they continue to compete at a high level in the league.
