These jerseys, featuring the iconic maroon beloved by fans in the Caribbean and around the world, will be worn in One Day International (ODI), T20 International (T20), and training sessions throughout the series.

Macron, an Italian-based sports apparel manufacturer with a rich history of providing sportswear to athletes, sports players, and teams for over five decades, has been named CWI’s official technical partner and team kit supplier. This partnership extends to supplying playing and training kits for all home and away Test, ODI, and T20I matches, covering all West Indies Men’s and Women’s international teams, including ‘A’ Teams, the Academies, and age-group teams.

Newly designed team jerseys

The newly designed team jerseys feature high-performance materials designed not only to enhance player performance but also to contribute to sustainability efforts by reducing plastic waste and energy consumption. Each jersey is crafted from a special 100% PET recycled polyester thread, sourced from 13 recycled bottles, resulting in a production process that requires less energy.

This eco-friendly approach aligns with CWI’s commitment to promoting sustainability and reducing plastic waste and energy consumption, which are vital considerations for the future of Caribbean nations.

The official unveiling of the new team kit designs is scheduled to take place leading up to the three-match CG United ODI Series, commencing on December 3 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, followed by the T20I Series starting on December 12 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

Macron’s online store will provide fans worldwide with the opportunity to purchase the new range of playing and training apparel, in addition to caps, polo shirts, and other accessories. For Caribbean fans, the new kit will be available on match days at the four venues hosting the West Indies vs. England Series, either through a convenient click-and-collect service via CWI’s online platforms or at West Indies merchandise stands within each venue.

CWI is also collaborating with regional retail partners to ensure the availability of the new West Indies Macron range, with further details to be announced soon.

Dominic Warne, CWI Commercial Director, said, “CWI is looking forward to a great technical partnership with Macron as a top-quality sports brand supplying technical apparel to sports teams around the world. We believe the new kit will be loved by fans, players, and will also help the environment.”
