Notable inclusions in the squad include Kate Wilmott, who earned her maiden call-up to the senior team, and the return of experienced player Chedean Nation.

Kate Wilmott’s selection comes on the heels of her commendable performances in the CG United Women’s Super50 Cup and T20 Blaze tournaments, where her right-arm medium pace caught the attention of selectors. Meanwhile, Chedean Nation’s return will bolster the team’s batting line-up, adding valuable experience to the squad.

Lead Selector for Women’s cricket Ann Browne-John emphasized the importance of the upcoming series, marking the team’s return to international competition after a six-month hiatus. Browne-John highlighted the significance of the series in providing crucial preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup later this year.
