As the countdown to the tournament commences with just 30 days left until its commencement, the release of the anthem marks the beginning of what promises to be the largest cricket spectacle ever witnessed.

Scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 29 across the West Indies and the USA, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will feature 20 international teams competing in 55 matches. The anthem, produced by Michael “Tano” Montano, was launched alongside a captivating music video featuring cameos from renowned personalities including eight-time Olympic gold-medalist and tournament ambassador Usain Bolt, along with cricket stars Chris Gayle, Ali Khan, Shiv Chanderpaul, and other Caribbean luminaries.

The music video serves as a visual celebration of cricket, capturing the electrifying atmosphere and boundless energy that fans worldwide can anticipate when attending ICC Men’s T20 World Cup matches.

The track and music video are available for viewing on various digital streaming platforms

Both the track and music video are available for viewing on various digital streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, JioSaavn, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Additionally, fans are encouraged to participate in the festivities by creating their interpretations of the “knock it out of this world” dance step featured in the video.

Grammy Award winner Sean Paul expressed his excitement, stating, “This song is all about positive energy and Caribbean pride… I can’t wait for the carnival of cricket to get started and hear everyone singing along to the anthem, bringing the party to stadiums across the West Indies and USA.” Similarly, Soca Superstar Kes remarked, “The track embodies the vibrant culture and energy of cricket and is a real anthem for people to sing out and feel the spirit of unity.”

Claire Furlong, ICC General Manager – Marketing and Communications, emphasized the significance of the official anthem in setting the stage for a global celebration of cricket. She praised the collaboration between Sean Paul and Kes, two globally recognized artists, whose creation will resonate across stadiums, global broadcasts, and ICC digital platforms throughout the tournament.

As anticipation builds for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, additional hospitality opportunities and tickets for all matches will be released today. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets promptly to avoid missing out on this historic event. Ticket box offices across the West Indies are also opening today, offering convenient access for fans to purchase tickets in person.
