With the tournament scheduled for June 1-29, Holder believes that despite the talent in the squad, success will ultimately hinge on their ability to perform when it matters most.

Holder, a former Test and One-Day captain, expressed confidence in the team’s chances, citing their familiarity with Caribbean conditions and the depth of their squad. He emphasized the need for every player to deliver their best performance on match day, regardless of their reputation or experience.

The 32-year-old highlighted the team’s depth and versatility, emphasizing the importance of holding their nerve and enjoying the game. Holder, who has been a vital part of the West Indies T20 side in recent years, pointed to their recent series victories against top teams as a sign of their preparation and form leading into the World Cup.

As West Indies, a two-time former T20 World Cup champions, gear up for the tournament, Holder believes they are well-prepared and in good spirits. With a tough group featuring teams like New Zealand and Afghanistan, Holder remains optimistic about their chances, underscoring the importance of delivering on the day to achieve success in the competition.
