Chairman of World Class Athletics Limited, Bruce James, highlighted the significance of this announcement, noting that it marks the first time a Caribbean brand will prominently feature on the running kit of a competing athlete in the prestigious World Athletics Diamond League.

“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Hansle, which originally began in 2013,” noted Don Wehby, GraceKennedy Group CEO. “Hansle perfectly symbolizes the values of excellence, resilience, and dedication that embody the GraceKennedy and Jamaican spirit. We are incredibly proud to support him as he continues to inspire Jamaicans and the world with his phenomenal talent.”

The extension of the partnership signifies a milestone for both parties, as GraceKennedy becomes prominently showcased on the global stage of the Diamond League through Parchment’s participation.

Pride in representing the GraceKennedy brand

“We are excited to be a part of such a historic moment with Hansle, by having our brand displayed on such a global platform as the Diamond League. This is a new chapter in athlete sponsorship and Caribbean brand visibility on the global sporting stage,” added Wehby.

In response, Parchment expressed his enthusiasm for the continued collaboration, emphasizing his pride in representing the GraceKennedy brand.

“I am honored to represent GraceKennedy, a brand that is synonymous with Jamaica and has been a pillar of our community for generations,” stated Parchment. “This new chapter in our partnership allows me to carry the GK legacy with me onto the world stage, showcasing Jamaican excellence alongside a company that shares the same values.”

As Parchment continues to make strides in his athletic career, the partnership between GraceKennedy and the Olympic champion serves as a testament to the enduring relationship between Jamaican athletes and home-grown brands.
