Over 200 excited children were treated to gifts and thrilling amusement rides at the Rockfort Football Field last Friday. Joining in the festivities was Damion Lowe’s father, Onandi Lowe, a legend from Jamaica’s 1998 World Cup squad.

This thoughtful initiative unfolded in the very community where both father and son began their football journeys. The event also featured a spirited football competition that showcased local teams and highlighted the budding talents of young players within the community.

“I’ve spent many years growing up in this community, and I’ve witnessed many people doing similar events here. Now that I have the means and support to make it happen, this marks the third year,” shared Lowe. “It’s a positive initiative for East Kingston, and I extend my gratitude to Marc Effron and Legacy Healing Centre for their support in making it a reality this year.”
