Caribbean athletes exhibited their exceptional talents at the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix, delivering stellar performances despite challenging conditions characterized by heavy winds.
In the men’s triple jump event, Jaydon Hibbert of Jamaica stood out with a remarkable leap of 17.33m, securing first place with an unconventional eight-step run. Jah-Nhai Perinchief from Bermuda claimed second place with a jump of 17.13m, while Jordan Scott of Jamaica took third with 17.05m.
On the track, Stacey-Ann Williams of Jamaica dominated the women’s 400m, clocking a commanding time of 51.71 seconds to secure first place. Kirani James of Grenada showcased his prowess in the men’s 400m, claiming victory with a time of 46.00 seconds.

In the 400m hurdles, Shian Salmon impressed with a swift time of 56.59 seconds, while Jereem Richards of Trinidad and Tobago blazed to victory in the men’s 200m dash with a time of 20.39 seconds.
In her first 200m run in a year, Abby Steiner of the USA claimed victory in 22.71 seconds, while Noah Lyles of the USA overcame challenging wind conditions to win the men’s 100m dash in 9.96 seconds.
Tamari Davis of the USA dominated the women’s 100m with a time of 11.04 seconds, while Amber Hughes of the USA comfortably won the 100m hurdles in 12.57 seconds.
Monae Nichols of the USA showcased her talent in the long jump, jumping an impressive 6.91m to secure victory, with Chanice Porter of Jamaica taking second place and Jasmine Moore finishing third.
