Meanwhile, at Sabina Park, Volcanoes’ dominance was highlighted by John’s five-wicket haul, dismissing Jamaica Scorpions for 159. Springer’s contribution with three wickets further enhanced Volcanoes’ stronghold, limiting Scorpions’ progress.

In a separate encounter at Warner Park, Joshua James’ three-wicket haul aided Cricket West Indies Academy in restricting Leeward Islands Hurricanes to 137. Off-spinner Ashmead Nedd and pacer Johann Layne also played pivotal roles in the Academy’s commendable bowling display.
However, unfortunate circumstances led to the abandonment of play between Combined Campuses & Colleges Marooners and Barbados Pride at Chedwin Park due to a ruptured water main, resulting in a soaked outfield.
