The move marks a major milestone for Shenequa as she seeks to expand her presence in the Dancehall industry, with Kartel already hinting that collaborations between the two are in the works.

“I aim to change the perception that female Reggae/Dancehall artistes are limited to a certain level of success in the music industry. And if there was ever any truth to that perception, we will change it. With God, all things are possible,” she said.
Shenequa said her work ethic is guided by a quote she learned in high school: “Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might.”
She said she applies that principle to her career, aiming to improve with every song she writes and records.
