Virgin Atlantic boosts flights to Barbados

Virgin Atlantic is gearing up to enhance its flight services to Barbados this winter.

The airline plans to increase its total weekly flights to and from the island, aiming for up to 24 flights each week.

New double daily flights from London Heathrow

A milestone will be reached with the introduction of double daily flights from London Heathrow to Barbados.

This new schedule, set to commence on January 8, 2024, will bolster connectivity and offer travelers more flexible options.

Additionally, the Manchester route will also witness an expansion, with the number of weekly flights increasing to four.

Strengthening inter-regional connections

Virgin Atlantic’s strategic enhancements also feature a reinforced inter-regional service.

The airline will introduce three weekly flights from Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, each improving the connectedness within the region.

Barbados: A flourishing Eastern Caribbean hub

This strategic move reiterates Virgin Atlantic’s focus on establishing Barbados as a potent Eastern Caribbean hub.

The enhanced flight services not only benefit passengers but also boost cargo imports and exports, facilitating vital commercial activities.
