Travelers to Jamaica advised to complete C5 form online before arrival

Travelers heading to Jamaica are advised to complete the online Immigration/Customs Declaration (C5) Form before their arrival to expedite their entry process.

This proactive measure aims to minimize waiting times in immigration halls and enhance the overall efficiency of the entry procedure.

Benefits of early submission

The advantages of submitting the C5 form in advance are significant. Upon landing in Jamaica, travelers who have already completed the form can present their confirmation, proceed directly to a dedicated kiosk, and swiftly continue through immigration.

This kiosk is designed to recognize their information immediately upon scanning their passports, allowing for a quick and seamless transition through the gates.

Complete forms early

It is possible to fill out the C5 form up to 30 days before arriving in Jamaica. This advance preparation is highly recommended, especially considering potential delays that could occur when multiple flights land simultaneously.

Provisions for on-the-spot form completion

For those who might prefer or need to fill out the form upon arrival, the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) has ensured that adequate resources are available.

Travelers have access to Wi-Fi, courtesy of the Airports Authority, along with tablets provided at the immigration area for those who opt not to use their personal devices.

Additionally, immigration officers and assistants are readily available to help with the form completion, ensuring that all travelers can navigate the process as smoothly as possible.
