Three men are facing charges in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Suren Seetal, a 36-year-old airplane mechanic from South Florida.

According to reports, Seetal, a worker at both Opa-locka Airport and Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, disappeared on November 2nd, leaving his family deeply concerned.

He failed to return home that fateful night and did not report to work the next day.

The accused trio

On Monday, a federal grand jury indicted three Broward residents in the case, namely 24-year-old Avin “Smalls” Seetaram, 29-year-old Somjeet Christopher Singh, known as “Lil Chris,” and 18-year-old Gavin Hunter.

The charges brought against them include murder for hire conspiracy, murder for hire, kidnapping conspiracy, kidnapping, and obstruction of justice.

A trail of digital clues

The investigation unveiled a digital trail that pointed towards the trio’s involvement.

Reports are that Seetal’s phone was traced to the vicinity of Singh’s Margate air conditioning business, Dr. HVAC, before mysteriously going offline.

Reports are that Seetal’s lifeless body was discovered on November 21 at Big Cypress Reservation.

Facing the consequences

If convicted, Seetaram, Singh, and Hunter each face a mandatory sentence of life in prison or even the possibility of the death penalty looming over them.
