A 36 year old Tamarac man has been arrested by detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Threat Management Unit on bomb threat charges. The suspect, Guerdouin Montimer, was taken into custody Monday afternoon and transported to BSO Main Jail.

According to investigators, at approximately 11:13 a.m. on July 15, BSO’s Real Time Crime Center TMU was notified that an unknown person contacted Broward County Crime Stoppers and made bomb threats toward HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital located at 7201 N. University Drive in Tamarac.

During the investigation, detectives identified Montimer as the suspect. He was later located and taken into custody by BSO’s Tamarac District deputies near the 7000 block of West Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac.

Montimer faces two counts of making a false report concerning planting a bomb, explosive or weapon of mass destruction.
