St. Lucia has welcomed a new initiative aimed at facilitating seamless travel for visitors from France.

This will allow travelers to explore the landscapes of St. Lucia on the same day they arrive in the nearby French territory of Martinique.

Efficient travel options

The service operates twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

Visitors can now land in Martinique and seamlessly transition from the airport to the seaport, where they will embark on a ferry service bound for St. Lucia, all at a single price.

Enhancing visitor experience

Dr. Ernest Hilaire, the Minister of Tourism, has hailed this development as a significant step forward for St. Lucia’s tourism industry.

He emphasizes that the initiative not only enriches the visitor experience but also serves to strengthen the local economy.
