Music lovers in South Florida are being invited to experience the vibrant sounds of Jamaica when Journey to Kingston takes center stage at the Miramar Cultural Center on Saturday, May 30 at 8:00 p.m.

The highly anticipated concert will feature a powerful lineup of Jamaican reggae and dancehall icons, including Spragga Benz, Wayne Wonder, and Agent Sasco. Organizers say the event will celebrate Jamaican culture through music, energy and authentic Caribbean expression.

Headlining the evening is dancehall veteran Spragga Benz, who will also mark his birthday during the event. Known for his commanding stage presence and lyrical delivery, Spragga Benz has remained a dominant force in dancehall since the early 1990s. Fans can expect performances of popular hits including “Work Fi This,” “She Nuh Ready Yet,” “We Nuh Like,” “Dolly House,” and “Differ Remix.”

Organizers say the birthday celebration will feature special guest appearances and surprise collaborations, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.

Joining him on stage is international reggae star Wayne Wonder, whose smooth vocals and crossover success have earned him global recognition. With a catalogue that includes “No Letting Go,” “Saddest Day,” “I Still Believe,” and “Bonafide Love,” Wayne Wonder continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his signature sound and emotional delivery.

Completing the lineup is Agent Sasco, widely respected for his versatility and lyrical depth. Over the years, Sasco has evolved into one of reggae and dancehall’s most thoughtful voices, releasing critically acclaimed projects including Theory of Reggaetivity (2016), Hope River (2018), and Sasco vs Assassin (2020). His performance is expected to add both energy and substance to the evening’s showcase.

The event is presented by the Miramar Cultural Center and hosted by Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers, highlighting the City of Miramar’s ongoing commitment to celebrating cultural diversity and international artistic excellence.
