It’s a great start of the year for dancehall artiste Shenseea. The dancehall princess is set to perform at the popular Music and Arts Festival, Coachella, in April at the Empire Polo Club in California.

The news was made public by Coachella on Tuesday on their social media account. Shenseea is listed to perform on Saturday, April 15 and Saturday, April 22. Other international heavyweights set to grace the stage are Burna Boy, Bjork, Shake & Rae Sremmurd, Rosalia, Pusha T among others.

Born Chinsea Lee, Shenseea has been making major moves in her musical career as this will be the first time she will be performing at the show. The “Trendy Gyal” joins the likes of Chronixx, Damian Marley, Koffee, Skip Marley and Lee Scratch Perry as Jamaican artistes who performed at Coachella.

Not only is Shenseea securing performances on the international scene, but the artiste has also collaborated with a few international artistes including Meg Thee Stallion, Kanye and Charlie Puth which has put her in the spotlight.

The rising dancehall artiste has been turning heads on the international scene.  Recently, Apple Music selected her as the streaming service’s “Up Next” artiste.

The Interscope Records signee also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live where she performed her song “Deserve It”.
