The Patriots managed only 10 runs during the first three overs and lost Kyle Mayers before the innings had properly settled.
Then Matthew Forde's fourth over opened the door.
Forde conceded a six, a four and five wides, and Andre Fletcher immediately took advantage. The Patriots' momentum accelerated when Fletcher attacked Maheesh Theekshana for 19 in the following over.

Tim Seifert had been fighting virtually alone, but his resistance ended in the next over when Ashmead Nedd removed him.
Louis returned to finish what he had started.
He dismissed Joshua Bishop before coming back in the 14th over to eliminate Theekshana and Amari Goodridge, completing a five-wicket haul and bringing the Kings' innings to a premature end.
Saint Lucia was bowled out for just 98, with only three batters managing to reach double figures.
