This certification marks Sean Paul’s 15th single to achieve Gold or higher in the UK. Produced by Steely & Clevie and Murray Elias, “I’m Still In Love With You” is a reimagining of Alton Ellis’s 1967 song of the same name. The track reached No. 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and climbed to No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart. Featured on Sean Paul’s Grammy-winning 2002 album Dutty Rock, the song helped cement his place in global music charts.

The music video, directed by Little X (now known as Director X), became an iconic representation of Dancehall’s charm, with choreography led by dancer Tanisha Scott. The video, which has since garnered over 509 million views on YouTube, plays on the emotional tension between two former lovers within a lively Dancehall setting.

Sean Paul’s music catalog has enjoyed remarkable success in the UK. His top-certified singles include “Temperature,” “No Lie” with Dua Lipa, and “Breathe,” his collaboration with Blu Cantrell—all of which hold 2x Platinum status with over 1.2 million units each in the country.

His Platinum-certified tracks include “She Doesn’t Mind,” “Get Busy,” “Baby Boy” with Beyoncé, “What About Us” with The Saturdays, “Boasty” with Wiley and Stefflon Don, and “Dangerous Love” with Fuse ODG—all of which have sold over 600,000 units. Additionally, “Got 2 Luv U” with Alexis Jordan, “Like Glue,” “We Be Burnin’,” “Mad Love” with David Guetta and Becky G, and “Do You Remember” with Jay Sean and Lil Jon have all achieved Gold certification in the UK.

With 15 Gold or higher certifications under his belt, Sean Paul’s influence continues to resonate across the UK music scene, showcasing Dancehall’s lasting impact.
