Mexico maintains commanding lead

Mexico remains at the summit of the Concacaf Men’s National Team Rankings following the September-October international window, which included Nations League matches and international friendlies.

The Mexicans lead the standings with 2,097 points, comfortably ahead of the United States, which occupies second place with 1,877.

Canada, Panama and Costa Rica retained their positions to complete an unchanged top five. Canada is third with 1,821 points, Panama fourth with 1,655, and Costa Rica fifth with 1,534.

Jamaica is now just four points behind Costa Rica, placing the Reggae Boyz within striking distance of the region’s top five.

Honduras slips as Guatemala holds position

Honduras experienced one of the more notable declines among the leading teams, falling two places to eighth despite accumulating 1,464 points.

Guatemala remained ninth with 1,446 points, while Curaçao’s rise completed the top 10.

The movement highlights the increasingly competitive nature of the regional rankings, with results across the international window influencing positions among teams separated by relatively narrow margins.

Barbados makes biggest leap

Barbados recorded the largest improvement during the latest ranking period, surging seven places to 28th after an impressive undefeated run in the Nations League.

The Barbadians posted a 3-1-0 record to win Group B and qualify for the Nations League B Championship, rewarding a consistent campaign with a significant rise in the regional standings.

While Jamaica, Haiti and Curaçao strengthened their standing among Concacaf’s elite, Barbados’ progress provided another encouraging sign of the Caribbean’s growing competitiveness across the region.
