Following a successful North American “A Matter of Time” promotional tour, Protoje, one of Jamaica’s recent reggae stars has his eyes on similar success in Europe.

New single released

Prior to the European tour Protoje has released the single “Like This” from his album. Released by Mr. Bongo and Easy Star Records the single touches “on love and relationship anxieties and blends traditional and contemporary reggae rhythms, and is produced by long-time collaborator Winta James.

According to the Jamaican Observer, Protoje said,“This song really talks about forgiveness and understanding as it pertains to our relationships... Understanding that we all go through the same things in some way. When I sing this song live on tour, everyone sings with me... I can see that it really connects with people.”

Protoje has gained popularity with other hits like Blood Money, and Who Knows, featuring Chronixx.

His US tour included concerts featuring veteran entertainers Lauryn and Nas in cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Touring several European cities

His European tour begins at the end of October with concerts scheduled for Brussels, Belgium and Paris, France. Then, in November he has shows slated for cities like Stockholm, Sweden; Amsterdam in The Netherlands; Zurich, Switzerland; and Libson, Portugal, and return performances across France
