No Appointment Needed for COVID-19 Vaccine in Broward County

On April 15th, the Florida Department of Health in Broward County (DOH-Broward) announced that, until further notice, appointments are not required at its COVID-19 vaccination sites.
Effective immediately, Florida residents age 18+ may visit their nearest DOH-Broward vaccination site during regular operating hours to receive the Pfizer vaccine.
DOH-Broward sites in and near Sunrise include:
Markham Park (drive-through site)
16001 W. State Road 84, Sunrise Sunrise, FL 33326
Open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium (drive-through site)
3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill 33311
Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Additional DOH-Broward sites are listed online.
If you have an appointment for your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, you may choose to keep it, or to visit a DOH-Broward site at your earliest convenience during regular operating hours.
Please note that other vaccine providers - such as hospitals and pharmacies - still require appointments at their locations. For more information about local availability, use the Florida Department of Health's online Vaccine Locator tool.
For additional details, visit the DOH-Broward website, www.broward.floridahealth.gov, or myvaccine.fl.gov.
