On January 15, the City of Miramar took a significant step toward addressing housing insecurity with the groundbreaking of ParcView Townhomes, a new workforce housing development located at 6801 SW 34th Street.
The project, a collaboration between the city and the Florida Community Development Corporation, will feature 66 townhouse units aimed at providing attainable housing opportunities for first-time qualified homebuyers.
Commissioner Yvette Coulbourne highlighted the impact of the development, stating, "This marks the laying of the foundation for dreams and possibilities of homeownership while shaping the future of the City."
The initiative is supported by several partner agencies, including United Way of Broward County, Modis Architects, BB Americas Bank, Zamora, and Artifex Construction, reflecting a broad coalition focused on tackling the housing crisis.
