A 17-year-old girl, Jahari Malik, who was arrested in connection with the death of her boyfriend, appeared before a judge on Saturday. Malik has been charged with one count of manslaughter with a deadly weapon.

Malik’s arrest follows the discovery of 17-year-old Yahkeim Lollar, who was found stabbed in the garage of his apartment building on December 20.
