Miami-Dade to operate special bus schedule for the holidays

  • On <strong>Wednesday, December 25, 2024,</strong> the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will be operating Miami-Dade Transit services - Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover, including MetroConnect, on a <strong>Sunday schedule</strong>.
  • However, MetroLink, will not provide service during county observed holidays.
  • Miami-Dade County offices will be closed, including all DTPW’s administrative, Customer Service and Special Transportation (STS) offices.

On Wednesday, December 25, 2024, the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will be operating Miami-Dade Transit services - Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover, including MetroConnect, on a Sunday schedule.  However, MetroLink, will not provide service during county observed holidays.

Miami-Dade County offices will be closed, including all DTPW’s administrative, Customer Service and Special Transportation (STS) offices. However, STS customers can call the reservation number (305-871-1111) to reserve or cancel an STS trip.

On Tuesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 26, Miami-Dade Transit will provide regular weekday service.

Transit riders who prefer to access services online can purchase or reload an EASY Card in the Transit Store or the Go-Miami Dade App, Token Transit App, Citymapper,  Transit App,  or use contactless payments to pay fares. Real-time information is always available on the GO app, Transit App, and other trip planning apps.

Customers can also submit a new application for a Golden Passport EASY Card on DTPW’s Golden Passport online page or report a lost item at Lost and Found.
